Dr. Sarah Yassami, MD, CCFP

Dr. Sarah Yassami is a graduate of the UBC Family Medicine Residency Program (2025). During her training, she held several leadership roles and was a strong advocate for her fellow residents. Originally from Iran, Dr. Yassami completed medical school there and practiced as a family physician for three years before immigrating to Canada.

She now provides full-spectrum family medicine, with a special interest in women’s health, contraception, and menopause. Dr. Yassami is committed to improving her patients’ quality of life using an evidence-based, patient-centered approach. She believes in walking alongside her patients throughout their health journeys, always with respect, compassion, and dignity.

Fluent in both English and Farsi, Dr. Yassami strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patients.

Outside of medicine, she is an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys exploring the natural beauty of British Columbia and traveling with her family whenever she gets the chance.

Dr. Yassami is currently accepting new patients at Park Medical Clinic in West Vancouver.
