Dr. Ramin Pournaghibi obtained his B.SC. degree in pharmacy from LMU University in Munich/Germany. He started practicing pharmacy in Munich in 1998. In 2002, he received his Canadian license, and he worked in few community pharmacies in BC.

To pursue his interest in clinical pharmacy, in 2006 Ramin transitioned to hospital pharmacy, while he completed a post-graduate degree in Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Washinton/Seattle. Since then, he has been working in different in-patient and outpatient settings, including at Surrey Memorial Hospital and the Specialized Seniors Clinic at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

Since early 2022, Ramin has been part of the Northshore Primary Care Network team, supporting the local healthcare providers, by providing various clinical pharmacy services to patients who are referred to him.

Ramin appreciates the importance of a comprehensive medication assessment that takes into account patient’s preferences and goals of therapy. He also values the importance of a team-care approach to providing seamless care to patients.
